Tips to Keep Your Hair Free Of Tangles during A Yacht Outing

Nobody wants to deal with tangles. They’re uncomfortable and inconvenient, and many boaters end up spending the duration of their trip trying to get them out. But you don’t have to be one of them. How do you prevent tangles in your hair? How can you ensure your hair won’t stop you from enjoying your outing on a yacht?

    Try a Different Hairstyle

Before you take to the water, take a good look in the mirror. What hairstyle are you using? It may be time to try something new. If you usually allow your locks to flow freely, consider braiding your hair or putting it up in a bun. Encourage your boating companions to do the same thing when possible. If you don’t know how to create a certain hairstyle, look online for assistance.

Avoid Drying Your Hair by Rubbing It into a Towel

Many people rub a towel into their hair after they finish taking a shower or bath. This seemingly innocent gesture can actually do a lot of damage. The more rubbing you do, the more your hair will tangle. You may not be able to get all the tangles out by the time you get on the yacht, and a bad situation could get worse.

    Get a Trim

If your hair has split ends, it’s easier for it to tangle when you’re exposed to windy conditions. Make sure you get a trim on a regular basis. Even if you have a busy lifestyle, taking the time to do this will save you a lot of trouble.
